I’m a writer, editor, digital strategist and marketing consultant with a track record of producing engaging content on music, culture, travel and business.
Since graduating from Boston University’s College of Communications with a degree in magazine journalism, I’ve plied my craft as a freelance writer for publications including The Washington Post, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Billboard, NYMag.com, The New York Daily News, The Fader, The Village Voice, Complex, Time Out New York, Thrillist, Miami New Times and Wax Poetics. I have produced branded content for corporate clients including Red Bull, Scion and VP/Greensleeves Records, and provided music curation expertise for Apple Music and other streaming services.
From 2010 through 2018, I was the editorial director of LargeUp, a website and media company at the intersection of music, travel and culture. In addition to editing and directing content and social media strategy for the website, I managed partner campaigns, produced mini-docs and webisodes for the LargeUp TV video series, co-hosted The LargeUp Sessions radio program, and organized special events and activations at Winter Music Conference and South By Southwest. In 2017, I launched the company’s online marketing/PR division, where I directed campaigns for clients including Delicious Vinyl, EMPIRE and Lee “Scratch” Perry.
Previously, I worked as a news reporter and an editor for business magazines.
